Connecting your account
You can choose to connect Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console to AI Rank. These connections are optional and require separate authorisation through Google. Signing in with Google does not, by itself, authorise access to your Analytics or Search Console reporting data.


Information we access
When you connect a service, we receive your Google account identifier and email address, authorisation tokens, and information about the Analytics properties or Search Console sites available to that account. For the property or site you select, we retrieve reporting data. Depending on the service, this includes traffic sources, page paths or URLs, countries, device categories, sessions, engagement, key events, revenue, search queries, clicks, impressions, click-through rates and average search position. We also retrieve relevant property information, such as reporting timezone and currency. We request read-only Analytics and Search Console permissions. These connections do not give AI Rank access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files or Google account password.

How we use this information
We use connected Google data to provide the reporting features you enable, including website traffic analysis, identified AI referral reporting and Google Search performance reports. We store imported reports so that these features can display historical information and refresh it without requiring you to reconnect each time. We do not sell connected Google data, use it for advertising targeting, or use it to train general-purpose AI or machine-learning models. We do not use your connected Google data to populate other customers’ reports or public industry benchmarks.

Storage and access
Our connector encrypts stored authorisation tokens and imported reporting records. Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Reports are associated with the relevant AI Rank workspace and project and are made available according to the application’s access permissions. Infrastructure providers supporting the integration, including Bunny.net and Replit, process the information needed to host the connector, operate the application and deliver your reports. Our personnel do not routinely read connected Google reporting data. Access is limited to circumstances where you authorise it for support, where it is necessary to investigate security issues, or where required by law.

Retention and deletion
We retain the connection credentials and imported reports while the connection is active to provide the reporting service. Disconnecting a service in AI Rank stops future imports and deletes the credentials and imported reports held by that connection in our connector. It does not delete the source information in Google Analytics or Google Search Console. You can separately revoke authorisation through your Google Account’s third-party connections settings. Revoking authorisation through Google stops further authorised access but does not automatically delete previously imported reports. Google API data commitments

Our handling of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. If we introduce a materially different use of connected Google data, we will explain that use and obtain any additional consent required before processing the data for that purpose.
